Tidal Fluid Power started in 1999 in Clontarf Queensland, Australia. The company’s aim is to supply the hydraulic industry with high quality hydraulic components, providing an alternative source of products to the big four multinational importers.
The Tidal Fluid Power model has proved to be successful, targeting hydraulic repairers, hydraulic resellers and OEM’s. The company now employs 8 staff to cover sales, marketing & supply across Australia. The product target for Tidal Fluid Power is piston pumps & motors, vane pumps & motors and a complete range of piston pump spare parts and hydraulic valves.
We are proud to be recognised as leaders in our industry throughout Australia as a superior supplier of hydraulic components and parts.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE
Tidal Fluid Power are an environmentally conscious organisation and have adopted the guidelines regarding packaging materials as stipulated in the Australian Packaging Covenant. We have acknowledged our obligations under the National Environment Protection (Used Packaging Materials) Measure 2011 and have implemented procedures to commence compliance.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
As part of our ongoing commitment to the environment and waste minimisation in the manufacturing sector, Tidal Fluid Power operate a Lean Manufacturing policy, where we strive to find the most efficient processes to ensure reduced energy usage, less waste materials, safe working practices and a healthy workforce.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
All of the products come with a warranty and all manufactured products do not leave the facility until they have been through a comprehensive quality control assessment. Tidal Fluid Power has a dedicated team who follow rigid QC processes and procedures to ensure that their product quality is aligned with the clients’ project scope and expectation.
MAINTENANCE AND WARRANTY
At Tidal Fluid Power we offer a full maintenance service and a repair or replace service. We also ensure that every product we sell is delivered with our Genuine Tidal Warranty.

STEVE REES - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Alan comes to us with a wealth of hydraulic knowledge and a lifetime of contributions to the industry. Coming form a Rexroth background, his name is known and trusted by many (including us) and he has come to set up and run our new Perth office and warehouse.
TANIA HOWARD - GENERAL MANAGER
Tania started with Tidal Fluid Power in 2001 and has seen the company evolve into the successful business that it is today. Tania, who is a trained accountant and an integral part of the team, has a profound understanding of the business and is heavily involved in all aspects, from counting stock to reconciling the BAS.
DANNY DUNSDON - OPERATIONS MANAGER
Rob has over 30 years of experience in the hydraulic industry - he is very technically minded coming from a Vickers background. He is a dedicated team member who is making a distinct difference to our team already.
STEP VAN DUIJN - REPAIR CENTRE MANAGER
Step has hands on experience in hydraulics and is a great asset assisting in all aspects of the business. Being multi skilled and larger than life, he has grabbed his new role as Repair Centre Manager with both hands. The Repair Centre is well looked after.
PAUL WOOD - STOCK CONTROLLER
Paul has commenced with us as a dedicated stock controller to ensure our shelves always have the products our customers need. As Availablility is our number 1 mantra his role is vital to the team. Paul is committed and meticulous with his work and is constantly striving for improvements.
MIKE WALLNER - SALES ENGINEER
Mike has returned to us in a Qld position , he was formerly employed by us in Victoria. His passion for Piston Pumps and all things hydraulic are very apparent when you meet his very vibrant personality.
DAMIEN FOY - WAREHOUSE
Damien has a certificate in operations and logistics and over 20 years’ experience at operating and managing fully stocked, busy warehouses.
DAWN REES - ADMINISTRATION
Dawn has been alongside Steve every step of the way and comes in to help out in all manner of ways possible. Her positive attitude and administrative assistance throughout the office keep the cogs turning.
MARTIN UNGERMANN - WORKSHOP
Martin came to Tidal Fluid Power fairly recently as a fully qualified Fitter and Turner with years of Hydraulic
technical experience and training. If you want it done right, Martin is the man for the job.
MADI MATENE - APPRENTICE HYDRAULIC FITTER
Madi came to us as a warehouse assistant and quickly proved her worth with her ready smile and eager to help attitude. When the opportunity arose to appoint a new Apprentice is was a win-win for all involved to offer the position to Madi.
